Storybook STEAM combines children's literature, hands-on creativity, and early STEAM learning in a fun, engaging environment designed especially for young learners.
This September and October, students will embark on a six-week project-based learning adventure inspired by the classic story We're Going on a Bear Hunt. Together, they will help create their very own green screen movie as they bring the story to life through acting, creating props, exploring simple STEAM activities, and working as a team.
Throughout the project, students will:
Explore a beloved children's book through hands-on learning
Create props, costumes, and scenery
Learn how green screen technology works
Practice communication, creativity, and teamwork
Help produce a collaborative class movie

The project concludes with a special Movie Premiere and Viewing Party where families are invited to celebrate their young filmmakers and watch the finished film together.
